With your permission, we may access your device's location in real time to show nearby halal places. This location data is only used during your session and is not stored afterward. For security and performance, we may also record basic technical data like IP address, browser type, or device type.

How We Use Information

Information is used to display listings, improve accuracy, and moderate submissions when needed. Some content, like mosque details, may reflect religious preferences, but this is never used for profiling, advertising, or marketing. User submissions may be visible on the platform until removed by you or through moderation.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or trade user information. Limited technical data may be shared with service providers who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations, or disclosed if required by law. Because the platform is available worldwide, your submissions may be viewed outside of Canada.

Data Security & Retention

We take reasonable steps to safeguard information, but no system is completely secure. Content you submit may remain until removed, while location data is processed only in real time and not retained.

Children's Privacy

The platform is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 where required by law. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and any such content will be deleted.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU or the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in Canada.
